Kiama Little Athletics Centre (often referred to as a Club) was formed in 1979. It was the 114th Little Athletics Centre registered with Little Athletics NSW. We cater for athletes in age groups from U/6 to U/17 with fun activities for children as young as 3 in the Tiny Tots.
Over the years a dedicated group of people have worked tirelessly to provide the equipment and facilities that are available for the athletes to enjoy. The Comittee members are volunteers with specific areas of responsibility to help make Kiama the premier Centre in our area.
We encourage all Athletes to compete at Carnivals run by other Centres. Coming events will be advertised on this website as well as on the notice board on Competition nights.
Age Groups from U/7 to U/15 may compete at the Zone Championships with U/8's and up able to progress to the Regional Championships. Athletes in the U/9's and up are able to then progress to the State Track & Field Championships. A decision on U/16 & U/17 athletes is yet to be made by LAANSW.
Athletes must formally apply to compete in the Zone Championships by submitting the relevant form to the Championships Officer. These forms are available from the Championships officer. Failure to submit the relevant form will result in an athlete being excluded from the Zone Championships. Entry to the Zone Championships is restricted to a maximum of 4 events per athlete.
